flavour with clear evidence of mangoes. It has a smooth delicate after taste.
Aneja mango wine can accompany many different cuisines, including asian, mexican ,curries, pasta, poultry and seafoods. It has 11% alcohol by volume. In order to have the best flavour and aroma, a chilled temperature of 8-10° C or 46-50° F is suggested. Aneja mango wine is produced by Puddicombe Estate Winery growing since 1797 in Niagara Region Canada. About Mangoes Origin of Mangoes The exact origin of mangoes are unknown, but most believe that it is native to Southern and southeast Asia, including India and Burma. Around the 5th century B.C. Buddhist monks brought it to Malaya. Mango was spread to the middle east by traders and introduced to Africa in the 16th century and then to West Indies and Brazil in the 1700's. Mango cultivars were introduced to Florida and southern California in the 1800's. Mangoes are now widely cultivated in frost-free tropical and warmer subtropical climates all over the world. Mangoes in Religion and Culture Mango is considered the king of all fruits. It belongs to the same family as the cashew and the pistachio nut. Mangoes also play an important role in culture and religion. In India, people consiser mango as its national fruit. They use mangoes and their leaves in wedding, festivals, medicine, religion and rituals. It also plays role in Buddhium and Jainism. Health Benifits of Mangoes An excellent overall nutritional source, mango is rich in a variety of phytochemicals and nutrients that qualify it as a “superfruit,” a term used to highlight the health potential of certain edible fruits. Mangoes contain especially high amounts of dietary fiber, Vitamin C, polyphenols, and carotenoids. Research claims that a mango contains one to three times the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C and beta-carotene, a cancer fighting antioxidant. Mangoes also contains high concentrations of Vitamins A, C and E and Selenium which aids in the prevention of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Mangoes contain insoluble and soluble fiber which help to improve digestive and cardiac health. B-Complex vitamins, folic acid (helps combat stress), and important minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, and selenium are also found in mangoes. Mangoes can even help your sex life! An average mango contains about 3.5 mg of Vitamin E, the nutrient that helps the hormonal system to function efficiently. This must be where the E in sex comes from! The benefits of mangoes over grapes will convince wine lovers to introduce a healthier option, mango wine, into their diets. Mangoes have higher levels of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Folic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium, Selenium, and Omega-3 fatty acids than the same serving size of grapes.
